Why Traditional Money Advice Fails Women
The missing piece in traditional money advice is understanding your Sacred Money Archetypes®.
Traditional money advice was built in a world where women weren’t expected to build wealth, lead financially, or control significant financial resources of their own.
And it assumes women should all be the same.
We’re told to follow along and eventually we’ll create the money, wealth, and financial freedom we’re looking for.
The traditional message is if the strategy isn’t working, the problem must be you. You need more discipline. Or more consistency, willpower, focus… whatever.

The entire premise of traditional money advice is flawed.
For decades, women have been trying to fit themselves into financial models that were never designed around the reality of who women are.
Women have been expected to conform to financial advice instead of financial advice understanding women.
I’ve spent more than two decades money mentoring women entrepreneurs and being truly obsessed with women’s relationships with money, I’m convinced that one of the most important things we’ve overlooked is how profoundly unique women are with money.
The real differences aren’t simply in how much we earn or spend.
Women’s differences are reflected in how we experience money, what money means to us, what motivates us, what we want money to create in our lives, and even how we define financial freedom itself.
For example, one woman dreams of building wealth so she can create security for herself and her family.
Another dreams of freedom, adventure, and new possibilities.
Another wants to use money to create meaningful impact.
Another wants money to create more beauty, pleasure, and richness in her life.
Another wants the influence that comes from building something significant.
Another wants to create a legacy that outlives her.
The destination may be called financial independence, but the journey looks very different from one woman to the next.
Yet much of the money advice women receive assumes we are all pursuing the same thing and should therefore follow the same path to get there.
That has never matched what I’ve seen.
The longer I mentored women entrepreneurs and money, the more fascinated I became by their differences.
Why does one woman light up at an opportunity that leaves another completely uninterested?
Why does one woman feel energized by growth while another feels energized by stability?
Why can two women have the same income, the same business, and the same financial goals yet experience money in completely different ways?
The more I paid attention, the more obvious it became that something deeper was happening.
For years, women had been trying to understand their relationship with money through someone else’s lens. They’re trying to follow someone else’s path with money instead of understanding their own.
This is exactly why I created Sacred Money Archetypes®
Years ago, Sacred Money Archetypes® was divinely downloaded through me, revealing a completely unique way of understanding women’s relationships with money.
What immediately struck me was that the archetypes illuminated something I had long sensed about women and money but had never seen articulated so clearly.
Women have distinct money personalities.
Each with its own strengths, gifts, challenges, opportunities for growth, and relationship with earning, spending, saving, wealth, freedom, security, success, and contribution.
Suddenly, so many things made sense.
Why one woman thrives with an approach that feels completely unnatural to another.
Why one woman creates money easily but struggles to keep it.
Why another creates stability but resists expansion.
Why another is willing to take bold risks while someone else carefully evaluates every decision.
The issue was never that one woman was doing money correctly while another was doing it wrong.
The truth is you bring fundamentally different motivations, values, desires, and gifts to your relationship with money.
Sacred Money Archetypes® gives language and insight to these differences.
More importantly, it frees you from the exhausting habit of measuring your relationship with money against someone else’s.
The goal is never to become someone else with money.
The goal is to understand yourself with money.
What About You?
What does financial freedom mean to you personally?
What do you most want money to create in your life?
When you imagine having more money, what feels most exciting?
What feels most important: security, freedom, impact, influence, contribution, beauty, legacy or adventure?
Sacred Money Archetypes® is a key that unlocks the deeper truth of who you are with money and the unique relationship you’ve had with money all along.
That’s one of the many reasons women fall in love with their archetypes.
You recognize yourself. You begin to understand why certain money decisions feel natural, why certain struggles seem to repeat, and why certain opportunities excite you while others leave you cold.
You stop trying to become someone else with money and start understanding who you already are.
Here’s where the real power of Sacred Money Archetypes® lives.
Self-understanding creates a different kind of power: the power to make money decisions from self-awareness instead of comparison, to build wealth in a way that aligns with who you are, and to stop forcing yourself into someone else’s model of success.
Traditional money advice starts with the strategy. Sacred Money Archetypes® starts with you, the woman.
I believe that’s exactly why so many women finally feel seen when they discover their archetypes.
Because the more deeply you understand yourself with money, the more powerfully you can create it, keep it, and enjoy it.
